VOID
Void is a performance piece written by Blue Pieta and directed by Malakai Sargeant. It debuted at the Royal Court Theatre in 2017, followed by a 2018 tour at Battersea Arts Centre, Camden's people theatre, Hackney Showroom and other venues.
VOID is an exploration of the soul's anatomy. It breaks boundaries of form, linearity and storytelling in a unique participatory journey, bringing to the forefront issues of human need, the cycle of trauma, obligatory love, the stream of connection and dissociation – and the addictive nature of Tesco meal deals. Blue creates an experience that dissects the human unconscious and the strings of our puppet master: the joys, the pain, the songs and the love that seed themselves deep beneath our common being.
